These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CVATS website (cvats.io), a free online ATS-friendly resume builder. Using the service means you accept these Terms in full.
1. Publisher of the website
CVATS (cvats.io) is published by Guillaume Ortin, independent developer. Contact : contact@cvats.io. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA - vercel.com).
2. Description of the service
CVATS provides a free online resume builder with no signup required, letting you create, preview and download a PDF resume compatible with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The service is available in five languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) and offers four resume templates (Universal, Finance, Tech, Marketing).
3. Access and usage
Access to the service is free and open. No account creation is required. You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable laws and not to use it for fraudulent, defamatory or unlawful purposes, or in any way that infringes the rights of third parties.
4. Intellectual property
The visual elements of the site (logos, templates, source code, editorial copy) are the exclusive property of the publisher or used under licence. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation or exploitation is prohibited. The data you enter in your resume remains your full and entire property : CVATS claims no rights over this content.
5. Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The publisher strives to keep the service available but cannot guarantee the absence of bugs, downtime or data loss. It is your responsibility to back up your resume regularly. CVATS cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage related to use of or inability to use the service.
6. Personal data
Data entered in the resume editor is stored exclusively in your browser (localStorage). It never reaches CVATS servers. For full details, please read the Privacy Policy.
7. Cookies
The site uses technical cookies required for its operation and, subject to your explicit consent, analytics cookies to measure traffic. Fine-grained preference management is available through the cookie banner shown on your first visit and can be edited at any time.
8. Changes to the Terms
The publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version applicable is the one published on the site at the moment of use. Material changes will be announced through a visible notice on the site.
